In college I took an intro to photography class and have been hooked ever since. The digital age of photography has helped immeasurably in improving my photographic skills. I love the ability to review images in the field and make any changes that may be needed. For this photo I used my Minolta Maxxum 7D and a Sigma 10-20mm lens @ 10mm. I also used a graduated neutral density filter to darken the sky while maintaining a good foreground exposure. I set the aperture at f/22 and focused to 18 inches, the hyperfocal distance for this lens at f/22. The only photoshop work was some sharpening, contrast, and whitebalance. I also had to remove some spots from dust on the sensor."
